New NYK Central Turned On

In an ongoing effort to improve our level of service, we are proud to announce that Now You Know is rolling out our new "NYK Central". In the next few days you will see the new login page, however, your existing user id and password will be the same. This new control center is the hub of the control you have over your features and services. In addition to this new control panel will be a newly updated "Support Center" with new lessons and instructions.

The new NYK Central features a new look and some additional features. Depending on your level of service, you will have access to various sections of this control section and will be able to manage your newsletter lists, website, Echiropractic, and Chiropractic Depot from these screens.

The new layout is easier and intuitive.  If you have any questions you can click on the "Support" link at the top and open our updated Support Center.  If you still have any questions you can call our toll free support number at 800-695-8937.

Chiropractic Depot Opening Only Days Away

Chiropractic Depot is only days away from opening. Click here to see the new manual. This project has been 2 years in the making and has required a significant amount of resources to get this ready to go.

When Chiropractic Depot opens there will be over 500 products on the storefront available for sale!  Our system will allow you to select those products you want to have available on your website. Patients can directly purchase items from your NYK website. When a patient makes a purchase, the order is processed directly by the vendor and shipped to the patient. In this process, you will receive a commission from each sale.

Some of the products avaiable on the Depot when it opens will be all the items from Core Products, Meyer Distributing, First Class Sleeper, Plantronics - Headsets, Elementals Health and Wellness Nutrients, TPK Back Saver Wallets, Sunnyrec Back supports, Sleep Logic as well as the line from several other suppliers of health and wellness products. AND THE LIST KEEPS GROWING!

Chiropractic Depot presales are currently available. To avoid delays in having a Chiropractic Depot storefront placed on your site and ready for operation, we recommend you upgrade your service as soon as possible as we may experience delays in upgrade requests when the storefronts become operational.

New Mailing List Maintenance System In Effect

We have recently instituted a new Email Verification System to help verify email addresses in your mailing lists.  This new system automatically checks the email addresses in your system and verifies that these addresses are valid so that the people on your list will receive your newsletters and mailings.

In the past week or so you may have received a mailing from Now You Know Support with a table showing the list of invalid addresses. The email had a letter at the top with the following text.

Hello,

Below is a report of your "Now You Know" mailing list(s) and the members who have been unsubscribed due to delivery failures. The names and addresses will still appear on your main list within NYKCentral, but they have been deselected from the related mailing list.

We recommend that you review the information and contact the appropriate people to get a valid email address, or delete them from your list entirely. You will receive a message like this again for any future unsubscriptions. While this report is run daily, you will not receive an email if no member on your list is unsubscribed. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at support@nowyouknow.net.

Now You Know, Inc.

As you can see from the letter, the people on your list with invalid emails were NOT removed from your list but were rendered inactive.  The names are still present but the boxes showing the lists you have them on will be empty.  PLEASE do not add check marks to these boxes until after you have corrected the email addresses.  We recommend that you correct the invalid email addresses as soon as possible so that the maximum number of recipients receive your newsletters and emails.

This new upgrade has already shown to greatly speed up the mailing system.  You will notice that your mailing will go out much faster and cleaner.

New Chiropractic Student Resource Site DC2BE.com Opens!

Several years ago the site www.dc2be.com was a method of communications and news during the Life University turmoil, as well as the leadership changes at Palmer.  During those times DC2BE.com continued to post links to available current news on those important issues and helped keep students and their families informed. 

Now DC2BE.com is reopening as a major student resource and open forum for chiropractic students everywhere. The new site features an open forum which allows students to communicate with each other and share ideas, thoughts, and information that will hopefully make the student experience both easier and more productive.

The forums are divided into various topics for easy access. Some of the forums include Student Life, Clubs, Events, Boards and Exams, Philosophy, Science, Art/Technique and a specific forum for each college.

In addition to the open forums there are other student resources that include a Calendar, helpful links, a classifieds section, and more. As time continues we will continue to add information, documents and other resources that will be of value to students. 

The site is open to students, educators and Doctors of Chiropractic.  We would like to encourage DCs who would like to share their knowledge and wisdom with students to participate by posting on this site.  To prevent SPAM and protect the integrity of this forum you must register to place a post, but there is no cost, and your information will not be shared with anyone.

The site is totally free!  We do not believe in charging students for the ability to share and grow.
