 Chiropractic Depot  Off to Great Start - Vendors Coming Online

In our last issue of The Information Age just two weeks ago, Now You Know announced the introduction of our new service, Chiropractic Depot.  Chiropractic Depot is a storefront that you can have in your Now You Know website where patients can purchase items directly from your website and have these items shipped  to them by the manufacturers.  For each sale that is made on your website, you will earn a commission.  There are no codes to remember, no memberships for patients to join.  It's just that simple!

This new service will carry a variety of health, wellness, and fitness products and is designed to bring the health and wellness industry together with the chiropractic profession.  Each year, billions of dollars are spent on health and wellness related products. Chiropractic patients, because of their orientation toward natural health, are prime consumers for these products.  It is long overdue for Chiropractors to be a part of this commerce.

Since this recent introduction, numerous vendors have contacted us to have their products included.  Who wouldn't?  Shortly we will release a preliminary list of the vendors and products that will be a part of the service.  This list will continue to grow as more products join the online health revolution.  It is important to note that each doctor with the Chiropractic Depot storefront will have the ability to select which products they want to have available for sale on their site's storefront.

Chiropractic Depot is available to subscribers with the new Now You Know “Premium Plus” package. If you already have NYK services, you can easily upgrade to the Premium Plus package. If you have another website service, in most cases we can transfer the unique information on your site to a new NYK site. Books You and Your Patients MUST Have (Chiropractor on Montel Williams Show!)

The third book you should get is written by a patient as a testimonial to her life changing experience under chiropractic care. The book, I Stand Amazed: How Chiropractic Saved My Life was written by Geri Carlson.  As Ms. Carlson describes it she was trapped in a cycle of suffering until a hand reached down and showed her the way out. As a side note, Geri Carlson's chiropractor was none other than a dear friend of mine and the world's busiest practitioner, Dr. Rob Schiffman.  Dr. Rob so inspired Geri that she took it upon herself to write her gripping story.  I have read this book and it is a tear-jerker!

The fourth book, Dying to be Young, is the personal story of another friend of mine and his wife, Dr. Eric and Bonnie Kaplan. (Eric and I were classmates at NYCC in the late 70's.) Eric and Bonnie were transferred to Atlanta for a long rehabilitation shortly after the incident that nearly claimed both their lives. Dr. BJ Harman and myself went to the hospital to visit Eric and Bonnie the second day they were in Atlanta.  It was not a pretty sight.  Their book chronicles the peril of this procedure, and their personal struggle.

Chiropractic Associations Can Also Benefit From Chiropractic Depot

Our Chiropractic Associations have long been strapped for cash to carry out their important work. At Now You Know we have decided to do something about it.  There are many products that chiropractors purchase either for their offices, or for resale to patients.  With the professional storefront version of the Chiropractic Depot these products will soon be carried on the participating association's and group's websites that we manage. (NYK actually donates our services for these sites).

Chiropractic Depot will maintain two types of storefronts. One is a Consumer Storefront that will be housed inside doctors' websites and will carry health and wellness products for sales to the general public. The second type of storefront is a Professional Storefront whereby Chiropractors can make purchases of supplies and products that they need for their office. It is the professional storefront that will appear in the association's websites.

Products listed in the professional storefront are geared toward sales to Doctors of Chiropractic. These products will include items which doctors can purchase for direct resale in their offices, or products and supplies for use in their offices.  For each sale that is made, the association will make a commission. Associations can therefore promote sales on their sites as a means  to increase revenues.
