Appointments from your website - Put a "RAT" on your website!

Now You Know can put a "RAT" on your website. RAT stands for "Request Appointment by Text". Now You Know introduces this new feature that allows your practice to make it as easy as possible for new and current patients to make appointments.

In the past, some have tried to have appointments made from websites by sending emails to the doctor for the appointment.  Unfortunately, most offices do not check their email in real time so the appointment was usually not confirmed until after the patient had already arrived.

With Now You Know's new RAT feature on your website, new and current practice members can request appointments from your website with the request being sent via text message to whatever cell phone you designate.  You can also change the number any time you want, or even change it to an email address. This way you never miss an appointment made through your website!

All NYK website subscribers with the new ADJUSTable Website themes, (the website themes you can change by yourself instantly), can add this feature now themselves by the simple click of a mouse.

Holiday Themes For Your Website

Now You Know is adding a number of holiday themes that our subscribers can change to immediately with our new ADJUSTable websites. The first theme being introduced this week is our Halloween theme. This fun theme makes your site look timely and relevant.  This new Halloween theme will have all the features and articles that are available on all our themes.

The Halloween theme not only looks fun but also includes some healthy chiropractic messages.  Some of the messages that will appear at the top of this Halloween theme include, "Poor Health is spooky!!! Subluxations are the trick, Chiropractic is the treat, Howl into good health with Chiropractic. Adjustments help you feel Ghoul."

We have already added to our standard list of themes with the release of the new "Arbor" theme (right). In the coming months we will be introducing themes for additional holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Holidays in general, Chanukah, New Years, and Valentine's Day. We believe your website should be fun as well as have important educational material and real news.

Dr Rob Schiffman Comes to Atlanta

Dr. Rob Schiffman and his Get The Big Idea program (GTBI) is coming to the Atlanta area on November 7-8. For those who may have been watching the presidential campaign too closely and not paying attention to chiropractic events, Dr Schiffman is the profession's busiest practitioner.  He has seen over 3800 visits in one week!  I have personally been in his office and seen him adjust 285 people on a Thursday afternoon.  And it did not look that busy!  It looked simple.

This program should be one of the largest GTBI programs ever. Students can attend free if they join the GTBI club (which is also free). I have always been a strong supporter of students and have been against charging or contracting students for services they do not need until after they have graduated. Fortunately, Dr Schiffman agrees with this philosophy.

 

Dr. Rob Schiffman began sharing his wisdom in a faith based program called Get the Big Idea some years ago. He has continued to practice even though his seminars have grown. This exciting program is one of the main things that fed my personal fire to get back into practice.  I feel privileged to being asked to be a regular part of this program. But honestly, I'd be there even if I were not speaking. Hope to see you there as well.
