Making 2009 the Best Chiropractic Year Ever
We know that Obama wants to reform the badly broken system of healthcare in the United States. We also know that with Daschle in charge of the Department of Health and Human Services, chiropractic will be included. Now let's be realistic for a minute. It is doubtful that all chiropractic services will be included at full reimbursement. There has been a rumor that there may be a cap of $500 on chiropractic reimbursement for everyone. However, that will mean that every American will get $500 of chiropractic care before they will need to start paying for any additional care. To me, even a scenario such as this would be a great opportunity. Presently, according to the NIH, more Americans are seeking "CAM healthcare. Chiropractic represents the largest and most established form of non-medical care. So the stage is set! Yes, I do hear some chiropractors saying that the economy is affecting their practice. However, I also see a large number of DCs doing better than ever in this same economy. I see all the signs that the medical system will be reformed and that chiropractic will be a prominent part of any reform. So the stage is set for the first time in history for chiropractic to be available to all Americans without financial barriers. The stage is set for the best year chiropractic has ever seen. |

Chiropractic Band of Brothers
A growing group of solid principled chiropractors is having an impact on practices around the nation. This group, called the "Chiro Band of Brothers", has started local meetings and created an online forum where like minded DCs can keep in touch with one another and help each other grow. These groups from various parts of the country have used a speech by Dr. Dick Santo as their mantra and rally cry. A video of this speech appears on YouTube and is linked into the Chiro Band of Brother's website. They have issued a mission statement that includes the following: Band Of Brothers Mission Statement.
