Slow Dance
This is a poem written by a terminally ill teenage girl with cancer in a New York Hospital.
It is quite the poem,
by Dr.
Jim Dubel

SLOW DANCE

Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?

Or listened to the rain

Slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?

Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You better slow down.

Don't dance so fast.

Time is short.

The music won't last.

Do you run through each day

On the fly?

When you ask How are you?

Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done

Do you lie in your bed

With the next hundred chores

Running through your head?

You'd better slow down

Don't dance so fast.

Time is short.

The music won't last.

Ever told your child,

We'll do it tomorrow?

And in your haste,

Not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch,

Let a good friendship die

Cause you never had time

To call and say, 'Hi'

You'd better slow down.

Don't dance so fast.

Time is short.

The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere

You miss half the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry through your day,

It is like an unopened gift....

Thrown away.

Life is not a race.

Do take it slower

Hear the music

Before the song is over.

This young girl has 6 months left to live, and as her dying wish, she wanted to send a letter telling everyone to live their life to the fullest, since she never will.

She'll never make it to prom, graduate from high school, or get married and have a family of her own.

I think its time to start dancing...as fast as you can! Believe in God and the bounteous things he has bestowed upon us....believe in the miracles of Chiropractic...
Get busy and tell the story...you may not have a tomorrow....

All My Love, Loyalty and Friendship....
Jim Dubel

High Volume Practice

Dr. Bob Crystal

You have what it takes right now to reach more people than you ever dreamed. How? Well first of all, start dreaming. If you never dreamed it, of course you never reached it. But beyond that, think in terms of the "small" steps necessary. Develop a passion to reach people, teach people, and encourage people. Do it one person at a time. Do it each and every visit. Chiropractic throughout its entire time has given hope to the hopeless, and so much more. We have an easy vehicle for this.

I am going to give you an assignment. Go to YouTube and type in "validation" in the search. The first video will be the one I am referring you to watch. Maybe you already did, but watch it again. And think, what is going on here? How come this guy has a high volume parking validation booth? Are the people waiting in line mad that they have to wait, or are they waiting gladly, with exciting anticipation? Can this be my office? Is he worried about the "wait", or the person in front of him that very instant? What happens when his attention shifts from them to his "stuff"? You need to train yourself, I need to train myself. This world needs each chiropractor to be as successful as that ticket validation guy!

You already have the spark, now its time to put the gas on the fire. Do the things necessary to get yourself out of the way and really serve. Then watch what happens. Leave all the garbage behind you. Get out of your own head, and take care of the people innately attracted to you. You have a gift for them, recognize it, and do it. As BJ said, "hitch your efforts to a star". Have the passion to serve a purpose higher than yourself. You have what it takes. True success is so close you can smell it, taste it, feel it, and see it.

Shop New Beginnings' Chiropractic Depot
and help NB Student Fund!

New Beginnings now has an online storefront with products and supplies for doctors of chiropractic. This storefront is the Now You Know Inc. professional version of the Chiropractic Depot and contains hundreds of products and supplies that you can use in your chiropractic office.

The best part is that each time you make a purchase in the Chiropractic Depot professional storefront, 100% of the NB commissions will go directly to the New Beginnings Student Fund. The fund began as a vision to fill a need. The need was to empower this profession with strong, committed, principled graduates. To do so, students today need to share in the passion of practicing DCs. They need Chiropractic Philosophy at its best. They need New Beginnings.

All products in the Chiropractic Depot are offered at a discount.  So, not only do you save money, but you also help students be a part of the New Beginnings experience.   You can enter the NB Chiropractic Depot storefront using the button on the front page of the NB website at www.nbchiro.com.
