Old Time Toggle & Roll

originally written by Bob Seger reinterpreted by Bob Braile D.C.

Just take those old green books off the shelf,
I like to sit and read them by myself.
Today’s adjustments ain’t got the same soul,
Not like that old time toggle & roll.

Don’t try to give me no light force,
Wimpy adjustments never get to my source.
In ten seconds I’ll be on the high-low,
Just want that old time toggle and roll.

I like that old time toggle and roll,
The hand adjustments that sooth the soul,
I reminisce about the days of old,
With that old time toggle and roll.

Don’t try to give me no stretch-o
I’d rather get me some HIO.
There’s only one way that will get me to go,
Just give me old time toggle and roll.

Call me a relic, call me what you will,
Say I’m old-fashioned, say I’m over the hill.
Today’s adjustments ain’t got the same soul,
Not like that old time toggle and roll.

I like that old time toggle and roll,
The hand adjustments that sooth the soul,
I reminisce about the days of old,
With that old time toggle and roll!
